We gave the clothes these children are wearing in 2013. Looks like it's time to give them new ones soon? All the children we gave ice-creams tee shirts and toys are the same kids that received used clothing from us in August 3013. We will be going back to see them in June and July 2014 and we are determined to give them new uniforms when we arrive.  ฿.400.00 ($.US-12.5) buys one complete uniform for 1 needy child

Gift of Happiness Foundation project to build new toilets for the villagers next to the girls dormitory at a remote jungle bamboo hut village called P’ Ya Naung. The village name means “Buddha’s Mountain” especially meaningful for this place which is located at the foot of a holy mountain according to local tradition.
DRY SEASON MEANS NO WATER TO WASH THESE KIDS - NEW WATER SUPPLY NEEDED!
We aim to stop the practice of sending women & teenagers for water many times a day!
We have commissioned a survey to find-out exactly what is needed to bring the water from a deep well located a long way from the village school, kitchen, toilets and showers.
A couple of options. 1. Drilling a new well/bore-hole and pumping the water close to where it's needed is a very expensive option and we have already been quoted in excess of ฿-150,000-00 ($US-4,650-00). 2. An new water pump and pipes to take it to the top of the village (Around 400 meters). This is the cheapest and most commonly used method of moving water around places like this remote village. We estimate the costs to be around ฿-70 to 90,000 and we will publish the total amount needed as soon as our engineers have finished their survey.

The main part of this project was to build a new toilet block next to the girls dormitory at a remote jungle village called P’ Ya Naung. IMPORTANT! The existing water pump and supply pipes at P’ Ya Naung village are not big enough now that they have expanded their numbers since the smaller village of Nu Bio Den was relocated here in April 2014.

VILLAGE KIDS CAN'T STAY CLEAN WITHOUT A GOOD WATER SUPPLY! We have commissioned a survey to see what is needed to supply this (Suddenly) much larger village with water for their school, new toilets, showers and communal kitchen. The village is close to the Thai/Burma border near Mae Sot, N. Thailand and around 70 children have recently been re-located to live in here since the landowners of their last village have repossessed the land.
Pictures of new toilet block materials and the first stages of construction. We also visited the SAW (Social Action for Women) home for women and children with HIV/AIDS, Agapee Orphanage, Hwy Ka Lok village, Pi Ra Mi village and Mae Tao Clinic.
