The Wat Sam Ma Kan School and community near Ayutthaya, Thailand was badly hit by serious flooding in this years catastrophe.  Gift of Happiness Foundation collected two truck loads of donations and delivered them to the school during this week. These goods were donated by some of Bangkok’s community groups and International schools.  We have also been active in some of the flooded areas of Bangkok during most days of the current situation.
There have been few up-dates on this page because Operations Director Eddie Haworth is now working from a hotel room in central Bangkok following his eveacuation from home in Pathom Thani more than four weeks ago...Please stay tuned for more up-dates as we have time to publish them.

Past few days have seen us delivering food, medicines and other essential goods for the elderly people in a part of flooded Bangkok that's flooded up-to a meter deep.  The goods were collected and re-distributed by  one of our great volunteers who lives in the Laksi area - Mr. Aot Nissasoka, who delivered the goods in our new boat which he brought to our waiting truck in a shallow part of Ramintra main road.
Yesterday, we gave  a show, donated games, toys and fruit to the 500 flood victims who re sheltering at the Chulalongkorn University shelter in Bangkok.
Back to Ramintra today to deliver more goods by boat...

Thanks to donations via our donate page...We bought a new boat and and food that we handed over to one of our volunteers (Mr. Aot Nissasoka) who lives in a flooded area of Bangkok.  He is using the boat to deliver food from a nearby Royal Thai Army base to old people who are stuck on upper floors of their flooded homes.
We have more boats from the Army who are able to offer our NGO a very good price for small boats.

We are now able to start helping some flood victims in Bangkok.
Founder and Operations Director of the Gift of Happiness Foundation is a victim of the floods in Thailand and has been unable to help other victims until now...He's been busy performing daily shows for children who are stuck on the 'new Island of Bangkok' -- He's been sorting-out access to our charities data, his accommodation in Bangkok and overcoming his own personal trauma following the evacuation from his badly flooded home in Pathom Thani nearly two weeks ago.
But now we have some Good news!
On Friday 04 November we will give a show for the children who are suffering from accute boredom and physical sickness brought-on by water born bactiria. Then we will give food, drink and essential toiletries to nearly 500 people at the Chulalongkorn university, flood victims refugee Centre.  This large donation will help those people survive the terrible crisis that we are all suffering right now in Thailand which we hope will soon be over?.
