Gift of Happiness Christmas Special Giving to Children in Need.
Gift of Happiness Foundation volunteers visited schools, orphanages, safe houses, a medical centre and very poor communities near Mae Sot, N. Thailand.
First stop...Ban Mae Pa Neua School. This is a Thai government school, although around 75% of its 126 students are of Burman ethnicity. The school is also supporting and educating poor children from very poor local communities. Some of the children here come from an orphanage and have never received the happiness, goodies and joy that we gave on this special day!

The Orphanage/Safe House has some children who could not be photographed while they are placed in special secure care following their rescue from abusive or other terrible situations.
However, all the children received a great deal of essential goods, like new uniforms, underwear, educational supplies, bedding, new clothing, towels and toiletries. In fact they had the best Christmas gifts ever this year, following the hard work of hundreds of people who gave goods or raised funds via events in Bangkok and worldwide online donations.
On 24.12/14. All the children at three locations including SAW, received gifts of toys, new and used clothing, bedding, towels, toiletries, educational supplies and a great deal of joy when they were entertained by the gift of Happiness Foundation Clown throughout the day.

This is the latest load of many that we have given since 2005 and the foundation will keep these deliveries going for as long as the good people who donate such essential supplies keep-on-keeping-on!
Christmas Day at the Orphanage and Safe House for Vulnerable Kids
First visit on Christmas Day was to AGAPE Orphanage and Learning Centre supporting and educating around children who have been abandoned or lost their parents through sickness, cross border conflicts or simply disappeared. The home has around 60 residents, with another 130 or so children coming in to school. Only some of the most vulnerable children could attend the festivities on Christmas Day this year while most of the other children were temporarily staying with friends or relatives outside the orphanage over the Christmas period. But they will still all receive their share of the essentials and treats that we left at the orphanage.
Gift of Happiness Foundation directly gave essential goods, toys, clothing, bedding, towels, toiletries and medical supplies to hundreds of children in need during this project tour.
The foundation also left enough essentials for hundreds more people with their trusted partners at Mae Tao Clinic and the Childrens Development Organization who will distribute all of the goods to the poor before 31/12/14.

The children at this place have very little support from any other organizations so the arrival of Gift of Happiness Foundation on Christmas Day was received with great surprise and appreciation.
