AND WE'RE BACK TO WORK!

Gift of Happiness Foundation to resume normal operations.
"Following a few weeks sick leave for the Director".
We are delighted to restart our monthly 'Aid & Show Giving Missions' on Monday 03/02/14 when we go north to Sangkhlaburi, close to the Thai/Burma border.

We have given happiness and essential supplies to some of the most needy children in the country
for a very long time.
AND STILL GIVING HAPPINESS IN THAILAND!

Help Us Give to Needy Children in Thailand

One of the many thousands we helped in 2013

Gift of Happiness Foundation is a Thai registered charity serving almost 90,000 needy children in Thailand during 2013.
We continue our monthly aid giving projects to help the children. Our aim is to reach even more in 2014.

Our next big project is almost ready to go!
We have volunteers from Australia, Norway, England and Thailand ready to help us as soon as we can afford to go. We already have THREE TRUCK LOADS of goods to give to 1,000+ CHILDREN when we return to Northern Thailand. We plan to go to Sangkhlaburi for four days (03/02/14), then Mae Sot for another four days in early March.

Meantime, we need a new home or sponsor for our charity shop & warehouse.

Due to our main sponsor now being unable to pay rent on our current location. We need to rent a large place before the end of March, to use as warehouse/charity shop/living accommodation(Not central Bangkok to save high rent).

Our director must now subsidize the rent, so needs to live at the same place. We must also have parking for at least two pick-up trucks, living space for one or two volunteers and preferably a small shop space for our charity/thrift shop. Near to BTS would be good, but anything will be considered under 20K-฿-P/Month ($600-00-USD).

Of course we will also be very pleased to hear from any group, club or individuals who might wish to consider sponsoring the rent on our current location. (Great company CSR benefits!)

FACT! All volunteers including Mr. Eddie Haworth FRSA, Founder/Director at GoHF are totally unpaid and often make personal contributions towards operational costs.
FACT! GoHF has only two full time staff, a driver/handyman & administration assistant who are both paid by our only corporate sponsor, Monroe Consulting Group, Bangkok. Monroe also supports the rent and utilities at the Go Happiness Centre/office/warehouse and provided the charity with a pickup truck in 2015.
FACT! Due to the COVID Pandemic, Eddie Haworth FRSA sold his personal truck in July 2020 because he needed to free up funds to cover aid giving project, maintenance and general running costs that are not covered by Monroe Consulting Group.
