Young People from Taiwan Visit the Go Happiness Centre Bangkok
In late July 2019, a group of young ladies from Taiwan visited the Go Happiness Centre in Bangkok to Interview the Gift of Happiness Foundation Founder/Director, Eddie Haworth.
The Youth Global Action Plan is initiated by the Ministry of Education, Youth Development Administration of the Republic of China (Taiwan). This program aims to invite Taiwan youths to discover the current social issues around them and try to solve those problems through Drama lessons.
Eddie provided heaps of advice on how they might come up with a feasible action plan though teaching the most up to date developments on facilitating regional revitalization and educational innovation in Taiwan.
This year the Youth Development Administration of the Republic of China (Taiwan) helps 14 groups to pay visits to international organizations whose core values and aims are related to helping to broaden the views of young people and help them to come up with an action plan though their learning of the most updated development on facilitating Regional Revitalization and Educational Innovation around the world.
Once the 14 groups finish the journey, they will start to carry out the plan for 3 months, primarily during August to November, as required by YDA. Later there will be a final presentation show and competition of 14 groups in the end of November where they will demonstrate their accomplishment to the public.

We provide vital aid and edutainment giving projects serving an average 2,000 children in need every month, plus many more families who are living in the slums of Bangkok. We cannot achieve this alone. The support of our donors, campaigners and friends is vital, so we want to make sure that we operate an efficient and effective organisation, directing our donor’s money where it is most needed. This is where our 100% pledge comes in.
In 2005, our Founder, Mr Eddie Haworth (AKA Clown Eckie Corporation) provided more than 500,000-THB ($15,964-USD) as required in legal fees and Government registration fees to set-up the Thai registered charity, Gift of Happiness Foundation. Eddie also provided the main 4x4 off-road capable vehicle needed for the charity to bring essential goods to remote parts of Thailand. He still covers repayments and maintenance costs for the latest 4x4 vehicle, purchased in 2018 at a cost of ฿1.2 million-THB ($38,300-USD). Eddie continued to cover all other running costs until Monroe Consulting Group, Bangkok made a 100% pledged to take-over those costs in 2015.
In 2015, our inspirational gold sponsor, Monroe Consulting Group gave Gift of Happiness Foundation the gift of a brand-new truck and a pledge to provide monthly cash donations to cover the Gift of Happiness Foundation’s core running costs; including administration, fundraising and office costs.
Thanks to the generous support of Monroe Consulting Group, 100% of the money you give to Gift of Happiness Foundation will go directly to Gift of Happiness Foundation projects and not to overhead or administrative costs.
