There's No Stopping the Gift of Happiness Foundation Staff from Giving Happiness!

When you are born in a Bangkok Slum, a few used toys are essential gifts of happiness to hold onto!

This delivery of Happiness consisted of clothing, educational supplies, bedding, toiletries and enough boxes of soap to keep the entire community of 140 people clean for months to come! The charity has been supplying clothing and other goods to this slum community for around 5 years and we see time and again just how important these goods are to help the people keep a reasonably dignified appearance. During the COVID-19 crisis the Go Happiness Centre has been unable to accept donations of clothing and other essential goods, but in mid July the charity will be back to business as usual. Please check out our donation drop off points in bangkok and start packing bags with used children's clothing, toys and any educational supplies like pencils etc, so we can continue to give as much as possible to those who have almost nothing to wear or platy with!

HAPPY ​to be Giving Happiness to remote communities in Thailand.

AMAZING STAFF at the GIFT OF HAPPINESS FOUNDATION!
The Go Happiness Staff "Gave  freely of their personal time and money" to buy and deliver essential goods that were very gratefully received by a remote community over the weekend of 13/14 June 2020! 

GIFT OF HAPPINESS FOUNDATION STAFF ARE DELIGHTED TO GIVE WAY BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY!

The same team of Go Happiness Staff and Volunteers are visiting a group of 140 temporarily unpaid workers with families. The families live close to Bangkok (Near Samut Sakhon). The Go Happiness team will take a vanload of clothing, toys, educational supplies and toiletries on Saturday the 27th of June. Then they will be going to do much the same thing at SIX rural schools and communities in Nakhon Sawan during the week of 7/8/9/10 July 2020.

​The GoHF staff took their own, family pick-up truck loaded with food, toiletries and soap to the small village that has so far had no other outside support since the start of lockdown restrictions. ​ This is the kind of giving the charity has been doing since 2005 and despite the recent restrictions, the charity has still been very active over the last few months and given tons more happiness to many hundreds of people since lockdown began! Eddie is still unable to travel back from his family visit to Scotland back in March 2020, but he is more than thrilled to see (from a great distance) his small team of staff taking the initiative and "giving freely of their personal time and money" to buy and deliver the goods that were so gratefully received by Villagers in Chaiyapom Province over the weekend!

Gift of Happiness Foundation Gets Cash for Food
from the Scottish Community in Thailand!

The Bangkok St Andrew’s Society has given a cash donation to the charity's "Food Aid" project that's been operating throughout the COVID-19 Crisis. ​ The charity has fulfilled a promise to spend all of their generous donation, plus a little more from individual donors on food for the 115 families living in two villages, Baan Kham and Baan Pensook in Surin province, N.E Thailand...

Essential toys for needy children given on 08/06/2020

The charity has been concentrating on supporting slum dwellers and people living on garbage dumps in and around Bangkok since March 2020. ​ This 3-day long "Aid Giving Project" to Surin Province is the first one that GoHF staff and some of their family members (as volunteers) have been able to confidently produce under the Direction from Scotland of charity leader, Eddie Haworth. As well as all the food paid for bt the St Andrews society and others... The GoHF staff took a vanload of toys, clothing, a few household items, toiletries and soap. This is what the charity has been doing for many years past and despite Eddie being unable to travel back from his family visit to Scotland back in March 2020, he is thrilled to be seeing things starting to get back to normal at last!
