Bangkok Charity Needs New Donation Drop-Off Points

Do You Have a place in Central Bangkok where people can leave donated clothing and other goods for our driver to collect every week?

Gift of Happiness Foundation (GoHF) is proud to announce the expansion of its goods collection service in Bangkok.

Monroe Consulting Group, Bangkok already sponsor a drivers salary and have given an essential delivery truck to GoHF

Thanks to Monroe, the charity is now able to collect all the goods that Expats and local Thai people are so happy to give. But we can really only manage to visit a few drop-off points in Bangkok once or twice-a-week. It simply costs too much in time and fuel to go round collecting individual bags from all parts of the City.

Gift of Happiness Foundation (GoHF) is strictly a "Not for Profit" properly registered organisation and member of the League of Foundations of Thailand Under Royal Patronage; Registration number: Kor Tor 1914. - Tax I.D: 0-9930-0009226-1.
GoHF is operated by a fully accountable board of trustees. The GoHF Chairperson and Secretary are the only people who are jointly allowed to withdraw money from the GoHF bank account and ONLY when it is needed for project and running costs. Every withdrawal is monitored and accurately recorded independently by properly accredited accountants. All GoHF accounts are presented for annual inspection to the Royal Thai Revenue department. Copies are available for public scrutiny by anyone giving good cause to see them. *(The GoHF Accounting company charge a fee for this service)
At GoHF nobody gets paid. (office/warehouse rent/utilities, and full-time staff are paid by our Gold Sponsor Monroe Consulting group). Everyone else including the Founder/Director, Eddie Haworth is an unpaid Volunteer. (Eddie personal income comes from a pension, professional engagements as an Entertainer and as a Collage Lecturer)
There is NO money wasted on administration because our legal/accounting providers offer their services virtually free! "This is because they believe that what we are doing is good for the poor people in their country, Thailand".
All volunteers including the Founder/Director and Board of Trustees pay their own way when engaged in any GoHF projects/activities.
100% of the money you give is used to help the poor people we serve and logistical costs incurred to serve them.

Gift of Happiness Foundation (GoHF) has been stringently vetted and approved to offer donors secure online or in-store payment gateways, provided by our Singapore based E-commerce donation payment gateway partner, 2C2P. (See available donation gateways Here)
GoHF online and in-store secure donation payment gateways are closely monitored by 2C2P and all GoHF secure passwords are changed at least once every 30 days.
Online and in-store donations sent to GoHF are securely processed by 2C2P and all donors personal information is properly encrypted so that no third parties can obtain any of GoHF or 2C2P donors data.
Online and in-store donations sent to GoHF are securely processed by 2C2P and sent directly to the GoHF registered bank account (Account Name: Gift of Happiness Foundation. Kasikorn Bank. Account No: 7702101594).
No staff, volunteers or even the Founder of GoHF can have any access to any part of financial donations sent to the GoHF online and in-store secure donation 2C2P payment gateways.
GoHF will never harvest or sell email addresses or other data, so donors, volunteers and anyone contacting GoHF by any kind of online method can be 100% sure they will not be bombarded with requests for donations from GoHF or any other charity, company, religious groups or advertising companies.

Great Challenges Overcome to Give Much Needed Happiness
in the Jungles and Islands of Thailand!

Children in Need living in the mountains and jungles close to the Thai/Burma border and Served by Gift of Happiness Foundation.

Gift of Happiness Foundation produced yet another (Special) aid and show giving project taking 9 days and covering 2,600 kilometres to some of the most remote off-road locations in Thailand and then onto the Southern Island of Phuket.
The charity served 1,600 people with essential clothing, educational supplies, new underwear, bedding, HAPPY SHOWS, office furniture and even luxurious sofa's for the teachers who work so hard to educate children living in very remote Thai villages.

Gift of Happiness Foundation go a very long way to deliver the HAPPINESS in Remote regions of Thailand

The small charity convoy delivered tons more essential goods to some if the neediest children in Thailand living in the mountains and jungles close to the Thai/Burma border in an area north of Ranong, Thailand.
Parts of the tracks leading to a couple of very remote villages are only accessible by 4x4s and modified vehicles like the Go Happiness specially prepared small trucks and trailer.

There were a couple of small bridges to cross, but none of them were strong enough to take the weight of any of our trucks or trailer due to the amount of goodies we took for the children!

These children have no smartphones or tablets!
There's no signal where they live anyway!

Following the massive 'Off-Road' delivery of HAPPINESS, the charity convoy headed to Phuket in the south of Thailand. The journey from the mountains took two days to cover before we arrived in Phuket on the evening of Thursday 08th March. A quick freshen-up and late-ish evening meal was had by all volunteers before turning-in for an early night so-as to-be bright and ready for a big show early the next day.
The show was hosted by the Baan Ban Tong primary school in Kathu, Phuket and was originally set-up to be performed for disadvantaged children and children-at-risk in Phuket some of whom are resident at the nearby Asia Center Foundation in Phuket.
All those children came on-time to see the show along with another bus-load of children and the Baan Ban Tong children who were delighted to see the "Big Fat HAPPINESS Show"! So we ended-up giving even more children than we planned a great dose of our brand of HAPPINESS MEDICINE in Phuket!

Go-Happiness never likes to waste space in their trucks, so we arranged to collect a trailer and truckload of fantastic donations from three hotels while we were in Phuket!
Goods given are perfect for the poor people we serve every month in other parts of Thailand. Goods are; Bedding, towels, Pillows, Cushions, Slippers, and other clothing in left luggage.
PLUS! A load of Brand New Clothing collected by the amazing staff and management at the wonderful hotels who supported this special aid giving project in Phuket!

Donations and greatly reduced room-rates for the Go Happiness Volunteers came from:

09/03/18: All Day Aid Giving Event at PA Mak Community Education Center Petchaburi Province, and collecting donations from hotels in Phuket.
Total number of beneficiaries: 1,600 children, teachers and villagers.
