Small Charity Gains Respect From 5 Star Hotel in Bangkok!

The first day of June 2019 was truly
"Bustin Out All Over"
at the Sukhothai Hotel in the heart of Bangkok!

Since the Hotel's last donation of goods to the Gift of Happiness Foundation a few months ago...
The hotel staff and management have been busy collecting goodies for children in need and they chose the first day of June 2019 to hand it all over to Bangkok based Charity, the Gift of Happiness Foundation.
This donation included enough money to buy 50 sets of brand new underwear for children in need plus a whole load of bedding, towels, toys,educational supplies and toiletries. It's all been given unconditionally be the amazing staff and management at the Sukhothai.

Then even more good news followed this great donation of goods and money?...

The Sukhothai Hotel Manager, Mr. Alex Schillinger has been supporting the charity on a personal level for more than 10 years and he suggested hosting a Hotel Management meeting with the Go Happiness Founder, Eddie Haworth and the Hotel management team to discuss the possibilities of the Hotel becoming much more involved in supporting the Charity...

Following a short presentation "About the Gift of Happiness Foundation", the whole management team are now very keen to build on the groundwork already laid by Alex and it was agreed to go ahead with a series of exciting events throughout this year and into 2020... Indeed, the hotel will be hosting an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary for the Gift of Happiness Foundation's Charity Registration with the Royal Thai Government and in the lead-up to that big event they will be hosting an art exhibition and sale, a massive family garden party and some major Christmas celebrations, all aimed at supporting the Gift of Happiness Foundation.

This is such exciting news for the Gift of Happiness Foundation and the 2,000+ children in need who GoHF supports every month of every year!

FACT! All volunteers including Mr. Eddie Haworth FRSA, Founder/Director at GoHF are totally unpaid and often make personal contributions towards operational costs.
FACT! GoHF has only two full time staff, a driver/handyman & administration assistant who are both paid by our only corporate sponsor, Monroe Consulting Group, Bangkok. Monroe also supports the rent and utilities at the Go Happiness Centre/office/warehouse and provided the charity with a pickup truck in 2015.
FACT! Due to the COVID Pandemic, Eddie Haworth FRSA sold his personal truck in July 2020 because he needed to free up funds to cover aid giving project, maintenance and general running costs that are not covered by Monroe Consulting Group.
