Traditional British Comedy Comes to the Fair Sat 26/11/16

Following the end of Thailands 30 day initial mourning period for His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The Government has asked for the cooperation from entertainment venues to refrain from conducting any boisterous performances. Of course Clown Eckie and the Gift of happiness Foundation will show the greatest respect at all performances held in Thailand for the remaining period of mourning.

Clown Eckie has entertained the families and revelers at the Annual Ploenchit Fair in Bangkok every year since the year 2000. And this year is no exception!

BUT...This year, the very popular family entertainer once referred to as "A Clown Prince in the Land of Smiles" will be presenting a Brand New Show that will be brought to the Fair on his Fantastic Royal Enfield motorbike!

The Clown has also been presenting a very popular Lecture & Show at International schools and performing at family parties and events in Bangkok since he arrived in Thailand 16 years ago.

For the past two years he's been saving his hard earned Thai Baht coins (since he quit drinking beer). And he recently found he'd saved just enough to buy the same model of British motorcycle he owned and loved so much way back in the 1970's. Now he's converted his shiny new "Classic Chrome Machine" and fitted new parts to turn it into a unique, fun mode of transport for the kids to enjoy seeing everytime he presents his new improved all action "Buffoonery Shows".

Clown Eckie is Founder/Director at Gift of Happiness Foundation and he's already made big plans to take his lovely Royal Enfield on as many Aid & Show Giving Projects as possible!

So around 1,000 poor kids every month will get to see the Clown turn-up on his shiny dream machine and a lot of them will even have a chance to sit astride the Royal Classic for photos they can keep as a reminder of the day that silly old Clown came to give so much Happiness.

Of course, the poor people served by Gift of Happiness will still receive just as many essential truck loads of educational supplies, clothing and toys as usual when the charity produces its monthly Aid & Show Giving Projects. Clown Eckie has reduced his show equipment and re-developed his shows so he can fit all his props on the bike, thereby freeing-up loads more space in his big 4x4 truck that will now be driven by a volunteer...And of course we always totally fill up the great truck provided by our number one sponsor Monroe Consulting Group in Bangkok

So the poor kids will get even more happiness when the Go Happy Circus comes to town!

The next big Aid & Show Giving project starts on 04/12/16 to 10/12/16 when we visit 7 community schools and serve around 1,200 poor children with truck loads-0-goodies and funny shows! FACT! All volunteers including Mr. Eddie Haworth FRSA, Founder/Director at GoHF are totally unpaid and often make personal contributions towards operational costs.
FACT! GoHF has only two full time staff, a driver/handyman & administration assistant who are both paid by our only corporate sponsor, Monroe Consulting Group, Bangkok. Monroe also supports the rent and utilities at the Go Happiness Centre/office/warehouse and provided the charity with a pickup truck in 2015.
FACT! Due to the COVID Pandemic, Eddie Haworth FRSA sold his personal truck in July 2020 because he needed to free up funds to cover aid giving project, maintenance and general running costs that are not covered by Monroe Consulting Group.
