EDDIE HAWORTH PROVIDES A 4X4 TRUCK FOR GIFT OF HAPPINESS FOUNDATION
Eddie's truck has been the main form of transport for the charity to deliver the goods to many thousands of people in need since 2005. Until his good-old battle-waggon finally reached the end of it's useful life during the Charity's July 2018 aid giving project serving hill-tribe communities and refugees located in Northern Mountainous regions of Thailand.
Eddie and the volunteers find it hard to imagine how disappointed the children would be if we failed to arrive with their gifts-a-plenty, simply because our transport failed to reach them. So, when the old truck broke-down in the mountains causing us to arrive at the hill-tribe villages much later than was expected, it was suggested by a GoHF sponsor;
"There's no point replacing the engine on the existing 13 year old truck, it's clearly reached the end of it's useful life."
That's when Eddie and the Charity's Board of Trustees decided to make an appeal for funding to acquire a reliable replacement 4x4 vehicle capable of towing the organisations large trailer along off-road tracks in North Thailand.
Then before long...Friends and regular sponsors spotted the genuine need for an essential new vehicle and they didn't hesitate to come forward with some amazing support!

Because Eddie is simply determined to continue providing so much aid to thousands of people who've come to rely on the charity he's been so passionate about since its inception in 2005. He also didn't hesitate to spend his earnings as a professional entertainer, on a major part of the purchase price of this new truck, just as he did way-back when he founded the charity.
This time round, Eddie gathered some fantastic support from companies and friends who helped him pay for this new truck by giving an interest free car-loan, free 4x4 offroad accessories and a massive discount on the purchase price of this fantastic new truck.
"This most important part of the charity's equipment has now been totally funded by contributions coming from outside the charity itself. Therefore the charity account remains viable and allows us to provide an uninterrupted service for the people we serve in Thailand".
