Opening of Bangkok's first UK style Charity Shop

Grand Opening on Monday 20th May 2013 - 2pm.

Welcome to our new charity shop, drop-off point and distribution centre in Bangkok.
We are so happy to receive all the costs to rent this place and pay the utility bills year-on-year from some great friends of the foundation, Mr. & Mrs. Victor & Gillian Adams, British ex-pats in Bangkok. (What a great gift to us! - A Big Thank Your to Vic & Gill).

We are open 11-am to 4-pm every weekday and most weekends.
(volunteers always needed to help us).
We will be selling all the kind of donated things that are not so practical for the very poor people we serve in Thailand.

We can't really give fashion shoes, ornaments, jewellery & designer clothing to people living in muddy refugee camps, migrant communities and Bangkok slums.
But we can sell all those things and anything else you don't use any-more. Then use the money to help us deliver to the really poor people in Thailand.

Our aim is to help some of the people who are often overlooked by some of the large NGO's and non-registered or non-accountable groups that exist in this country.

FACT! All volunteers including Mr. Eddie Haworth FRSA, Founder/Director at GoHF are totally unpaid and often make personal contributions towards operational costs.
FACT! GoHF has only two full time staff, a driver/handyman & administration assistant who are both paid by our only corporate sponsor, Monroe Consulting Group, Bangkok. Monroe also supports the rent and utilities at the Go Happiness Centre/office/warehouse and provided the charity with a pickup truck in 2015.
FACT! Due to the COVID Pandemic, Eddie Haworth FRSA sold his personal truck in July 2020 because he needed to free up funds to cover aid giving project, maintenance and general running costs that are not covered by Monroe Consulting Group.
