Desperate Please for Food Coming from Bangkok Slums
Some of the food paid for by the British Women's Group of Bangkok via a single donation of cash to the Gift of Happiness Foundation.
The Gift of Happiness Foundation has received desperate appeals for food aid from two small slum communities in Bangkok (Not Klongtoey).
 Small but important amount of food given before GoHF Appeal for support. | On Friday 24/04/2020, The Gift of Happiness Foundation gave a small amount of food to 6 families who who live in one of the hidden away slums in Bangkok. On the same day, the British Women's Group responded to our appeal for money to buy food and today, Monday the 27th April 2020, we are able to provide enough rice and noodles to feed 340 slum dwellers for around one month. |

We made an appeal that fell on deaf ears and blind eyes?
| last week we appealed for just 20 people to contribute at least 500-THB (a couple of Starbucks coffees) per month to help us feed all of the 340 desperately needy people in the slums. |  |
 Small amount of food given before Appeal | So far we have had NO monthly commitments and only two donations of 500 & 300-THB as one time only gifts. So when the British Women's Group bulk purchase of food is all used-up in around 3 weeks, the people will be back to starving again! |
ALL the food given to Bangkok Slum Dwellers by the Gift of happiness Foundation on the 27/04/2020 was paid for by the British Women's Group of Bangkok.
