Happiness on Children's Day at Bangkok Slums!
Eight Gift of Happiness Foundation (GoHF) Volunteers and Staff provided a massive day of giving essentials and fantastic, funny shows for children living in a largely hidden Slum, housing around 300 families in the Suan Luang District, Bangkok .
All these essential sets of underwear have been purchased directly from GoHF 'HERE' by well-wishers, some of the charity's 20,000 social media (Facebook/Tweet) followers and the Bangkok Gentlemen Spoofers group.
An extra couple of professional volunteer entertainers joined GoHF for National Children's Day and will be with the Charity again throughout the next big 'Aid & Show Giving Project' from 20 to 28th January.
GoHF will be serving around 1,500 children in need who live in Hill-Tribe communities along the Thai/Burma border around 300 kilometres South of Bangkok.
Professional entertainers have come all the way from London England;
1. Gingernutt the Clown and master puppeteer who worked on the Jim Henson movie, Labyrinth starring David Bowie. Gingernutt, AKA Ian Thom has been entertaining since the tender age of 4 and has worked with well known British celebrities, like Morecambe and Wise plus many more, so GoHF is delighted to have Ian back on-board for the fifth year in a row.
2. The Fox & The Pirate, Brian Stone. Brian is a lively, original singer songwriter who's volunteering with GoHF for the third year running and who's joined again by his wife Karen, she's a brilliant warm-up lady who gets all the children singing nursery rhymes and simple fun songs before each of the GoHF shows for needy children.
