Gift of Happiness have a busy week collecting the goods for next trip!
Since Monday 06/10/14 we have been collecting and receiving loads of goodies for the children. This time we have been giving lots of educational supplies, toiletries, toys, clothing, candies, baby essentials and even some childrens bedroom furniture. We also took delivery of some brand new water sports equipment and the donor asked us to sell it to help raise money for our fuel costs in delivering the other goodies to the children in Northern Thailand.
Giving all this and much more on 20/10/14 to 24/10/14 in North Thailand.
Gift of Happiness Foundation has now developed the October 2014 project providing another week of giving in the small City of Mae Sot situated right on the Thai/Burma border in North West Thailand.
The organization has been supporting schools, migrant learning centers, Safe houses for abused women and children, refugee camps and medical centers like the well known Mae Tao Clinic since 2005.
This project is providing two truck loads of much needed goods for around 1,000 children, women and patients at two medical centers.

Gift of Happiness Foundation have already purchased the generator and is now appealing for help to cover the costs for this vital piece of equipment. There will also be fun shows given for the children at four migrant learning centers and a brand new generator will be given to the Such Kha Hong learning center which has around 300 students who must study without the aid of any electrical supply. "Happy Days Ahead for these kids!"
