Royal Thai Police Border Patrol
Providing Schools for Needy Children
The Gift of Happiness Foundation spent 5 days (23 to 27 June 2019) driving to and from some remote hill tribe villages in Northern Thailand, delivering 5 tons of essential goods and a whole bundle of joy to just over 1,300 very needy children and parents who live close to the Thai/Burma border.

The rest of the show was just as wild and gave an unforgettable experience to all the children, police officers and teachers at this almost unreachable mountain hill tribe village school where some of the children have never seen a Wetsener before!
This is the largest school that Go Happiness visited during the project and this is where the charity gave enough clothing, toys, educational supplies and NEW UNDERWEAR to last the children for several months to come.
Just like all the other places that Go happiness visits, the teachers and children asked the charity to come back again soon! They have never had so many essential items and such a fun packed performance as this and when you browse through the pictures here, you will see the happiness is going to stay with those children for the rest of their lives!
The Go Happiness team eventually found a way through the jungle tracks to reach this most remote school located way up in the mountains close to the Thai/Burma border. The arduous drive proved to be well worth the effort when the volunteers arrived and were warmly greeted by the Chief of police; Police Captain Krissadat.
The children at this small school has been lucky to receive some very nice uniforms from an unknown sponsor who also provided a purpose built library for the children.
Go Happiness also did their bit to help the children who all live in hill tribe villages near to the school, have a slightly more comfortable (and dignified) life when they all received BRAND NEW UNDERWEAR and lots more essentials brought from Bangkok and a special gift of seriously important goods from Denmark, via Mr. Alex Heimdal Petersen

We provide vital aid and edutainment giving projects serving an average 2,000 children in need every month, plus many more families who are living in the slums of Bangkok. We cannot achieve this alone. The support of our donors, campaigners and friends is vital, so we want to make sure that we operate an efficient and effective organisation, directing our donor’s money where it is most needed. This is where our 100% pledge comes in.
In 2005, our Founder, Mr Eddie Haworth (AKA Clown Eckie Corporation) provided more than 500,000-THB ($15,964-USD) as required in legal fees and Government registration fees to set-up the Thai registered charity, Gift of Happiness Foundation. Eddie also provided the main 4x4 off-road capable vehicle needed for the charity to bring essential goods to remote parts of Thailand. He still covers repayments and maintenance costs for the latest 4x4 vehicle, purchased in 2018 at a cost of ฿1.2 million-THB ($38,300-USD). Eddie continued to cover all other running costs until Monroe Consulting Group, Bangkok made a 100% pledged to take-over those costs in 2015.
In 2015, our inspirational gold sponsor, Monroe Consulting Group gave Gift of Happiness Foundation the gift of a brand-new truck and a pledge to provide monthly cash donations to cover the Gift of Happiness Foundation’s core running costs; including administration, fundraising and office costs.
