Thursday 26th May 2011. Gift of happiness foundation volunteers and members of the Bangkok British Women's Group visited the Wat Preedalarm School to donate some essential equipment to the school in Ayutthaya, Thailand. More pictures
This school was badly hit by floods in November 2010 and we have been helping them to recover from the disaster ever since it happened. We have now decided to try and raise funds to replace their very old and broken computer equipment so the children can re-start their important computer studies as soon as possible.
We need help to buy 12 basic computers and an air conditioning unit for the very hot wood-built classroom. Estimated cost: 150,000 Thai baht ($5,000 USD)... We are happy to accept these goods and installations instead of money.
