28/04/15...The charity set-out to buy all the equipment needed to complete the water pumping project. But before we went to purchase and deliver of all this equipment, the charity paid it's usual monthly visit to Mae Tao Clinic to give them this months donations of essential goods that helps keep the whole clinic functioning and providing medical care to thousands of people every month of the year.
|
(Many of these goods came from the Park Plaza Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok. |
The charity was also happy to give around 50 kilo's of top quality Italian Pasta to AGAPE Orphanage and around the same amount of pasta went to the boys and girls dormitories in the Village where the water pump project took place. We also gave a load of linen, towels and and soft shoes for the children to use in their dormitories.

Gift of Happiness Foundation makes a point of buying goods and equipment from local suppliers and always engage local companies to complete the work. Gift of Happiness Foundation supplied and acquired the use of all three trucks and paid staff needed for this job.
Gift of Happiness Foundation purchased pumps, piping and fittings, plus a new secondary header tank to help with the ever growing size of the village population (Which now stands at just over 400 people). Then as we arrived with all the equipment to do the job, we soon discovered the project was starting to grow into something bigger than first planned.
We had already employed a firm of electricians to build the important new supply of power for the main pump, but it turned-out, they had much more work to do when we showed them the size of the new pump. Anyway...they soon started to revise their operational plans and the electricity supply was successfully up and running smoothly by the end of the project on Friday 01/05/15. "Well done to this great team of men" |
We will give another 550 new uniforms and at least three more truck loads of clothing, educational supplies and other essential goods to an estimated 2000 children at 10 migrant schools over a period of 7 days.
We need to hire two more trucks and pay drivers fees and accommodations for this project.
Please send whatever you can afford to help us get this massive job done on 17, May 2015. Thank you.
