Wat Sam Ma Kan School near Ayutthaya, Thailand has been severely affected by flooding but the actual school rooms are built on high concrete stilts, so the schools equipment remains safe for the time-being. We have been regular visitors to the school since 2009 and on our last visit in July 2011 we fitted new air conditioning units in the computer study room. We understand the room is still dry and the fittings should be OK when the school is fit to re-open.
Whilst the flooding is so tragic for thousands of people in Thailand right now...The Gift of Happiness Foundation simply isn't set up to meet the challenges of such massive crisis support...But we have been busy collecting essential goods for the flood victims and we are monitoring the situation daily so we can deliver these goods as soon as we are able.
We are ready for action as soon as the road is clear...
Our first-floor store room which is located in Pathom Thani remains dry and flood free for the time-being? The room is now full of clothing and toys ready to be delivered to the children and their parents in the villages around the school. As soon as we are able to get through to this area, we will deliver all the practical help and goods that we can.
More toiletries and new children's underwear is in great need by the people who are suffering such great loss at this time of flooding. We can collect from your home, office or school in Bangkok or you can drop-off at our office, HERE
Updates will be posted on this page...
Please continue to give goods and money which will allow us to do as much as possible for these poor people. Donate
