Gift of Happiness Foundation Did it Again!

The Bangkok registered Charity, Gift of Happiness Foundation volunteers and staff handed out another truckload of essentials and toys to some very needy children in the Klong Tan district of Bangkok.

The Gift of Happiness Foundation is totally reliant on donations of goods and money.

NOW WE SURVIVE (FINANCIALY) SOLELY ON THE MONTHLY DONATIONS GIVEN BY MONROE CONSULTING GROUP, BANGKOK

Here's Why...IMPORTANT UNHAPPY NEWS FOR
CHARITIES AND MANY SMALL BUSINESSES
IN THAILAND!PayPal have introduced major restrictions on handling money for their clients in Thailand. It will soon become impossible for us to maintain our account with PayPal and also similar restrictions are being applied by the Credit Card company we have relied on to process a few monthly donations and very rare single donations that we have received for several years.

Just a few individuals, plus one company who have supported us through sending PayPal or Credit Card donations are no longer able to send tier gifts unless they do so via the Charity bank account (details below). The total value of all those donations is close to $170. USD per month. This vital amount can no longer be covered by our Founder since he's now unable to earn money in Thailand due to the pandemic and it's consequences.

We are still receiving enough money from Monroe Consulting Group to pay the office rent and most of the utility bills.

Our founder, Mr Eddie Haworth FRSA is determined to find ways of keeping things going until the situation eases and we are able to restart negotiations with some companies who may become sponsors when their business picks up?

FACT! All volunteers including Mr. Eddie Haworth FRSA, Founder/Director at GoHF are totally unpaid and often make personal contributions towards operational costs.
FACT! GoHF has only two full time staff, a driver/handyman & administration assistant who are both paid by our only corporate sponsor, Monroe Consulting Group, Bangkok. Monroe also supports the rent and utilities at the Go Happiness Centre/office/warehouse and provided the charity with a pickup truck in 2015.
FACT! Due to the COVID Pandemic, Eddie Haworth FRSA sold his personal truck in July 2020 because he needed to free up funds to cover aid giving project, maintenance and general running costs that are not covered by Monroe Consulting Group.
