Happiness for children along the Thai/Burma border

Educational gifts for poor children are so important to help them go forward to higher education?
Just a few pictures taken during the first 2 days of the Gift of Happiness Foundation (GoHF) May 2018 Aid & Show Giving Project. During this 5 full days of Happiness Giving, GoHF served 1,890 children being educated at 8 Border Police Patrol Learning Centres located in the Kui Buri National Park, close the the Thai/Burma border, south of Bangkok.
The Gift of Happiness Foundation convoy had a lucky escape and a very scary moment when a massive Bull Elephant approached the lead truck & Trailer and gave us a little nudge before we managed to accelerate away from him!

A large proportion of the children are coming from Karen Hill-Tribe and poor agricultural communities located along the border. GoHF Founder Eddie Haworth has been very impressed to learn that the children receive a good education provided almost free of charge by the amazing border patrol police authorities.
Despite the children appearing to be healthy, well fed and clothed, they are actually living in very harsh conditions within tribal encampments without electricity or running water and in dwellings constructed from bamboo and leaves. The border police make sure the children have uniforms and a decent meal every day, while they also build and maintain the schools to a very high standard which in-turn makes it possible for many students to enjoy the benefits of a higher education as they grow.
