Desperate Need of Food in Bangkok Slums!
The Gift of Happiness Foundation has received fresh desperate appeals for food aid from two small slum communities in Bangkok (Not Klong Toey).
During the lockdown in April 2020 we provided essential food aid to some families living in great poverty close to the Go Happiness Centre in Bangkok.
Now, in July 2021... The same families are unable to earn a living by collecting scrap or selling fruit from their handcarts and they are already running out of basic staple foods...

Important notes:
* Our main priority is the safety of our staff and visitors to the Go Happiness Centre. Therefore, we require that all visitors maintain social distancing and wear a mask whilst handing over donations.
* Please do not bring or send ANY food to the Go Happiness Centre!
* Our staff and volunteers MUST NOT come into contact with any food products that need sorting within 5 days of arrival on the premises.
* We protect our staff and volunteers with extra PPE when purchasing, handling and distributing food packages.
* We can still accept safely wrapped goods (as outlined here) to be sorted after a period of quarantine in our storage unit. All such goods will be redistributed as usual as soon as restrictions permit.
