Kids get relief from carrying water up the hill in this remote Thailand village.
Gift of Happiness Foundation is determined to finish the water pumping project started last year when they built six new toilets at the remote Thailand Village of P’ Ya Naung. (The village name means “Buddha’s Mountain”).
(Here is the first phase of the project) This final stage of the project starts on 27/04/15 and should be finished by 30/04/15. |
Total cost for this project is 93,000-THB. - Donations still needed as of 24/04/15.
The costs for transport and drivers salaries etc is generously funded by a friend in memory of our resident volunteer, Simon Balmer (who died following a recent accident DETAILS HERE).
More great support is now coming from the children at Charter International School
23/04/15. Gift of Happiness Director Eddie Haworth collected some great donations of clothing, toys and school equipment from the children at Charter International School in Bangkok.
Teacher (Ms Louise) has also started a new project to help Gift of Happiness in the future and before the school starts the main summer holidays in June we should be able to collect even more goodies from this lovely school on the edge of the City. |
