Brrr... It Ain't Half Chilly these days in Thailand!
Because we are experiencing unusually cold weather in Thailand right now...Eddie Haworth and Nic Burr from the Gift of Happiness Foundation decided to give a severely disabled girl (Nongham) and a whole bunch of other children and elderly people living in Suttawat Village some nice warm blankets and clothing. |
Happy Eddie and some Very Happy Villagers receiving and wearing much needed warm clothes and blankets!
Regular readers of the GoHF news page will know much of story about Nongham and how the charity has been appealing for support since early 2019.
Now... We are delighted to report that an anonymous donor recently came forward with a single donation that is enough to cover the costs for a full-time carer for a period of 11 months. The Camillian Centre for disabled children has been giving Nongham weekly sessions of physiotherapy and nourishments at their Centre in Lat Krabang, near Bangkok. Eddie and two other regular donors will continue to contribute towards Nongham's daily need for diapers, food supplements and other medical supplies that her mother cannot afford to buy.
