Making another big impact on the lives of families who live on the Garbage Dump
During our last visit we gave hundreds of bottles of clean drinking water to around 200 very poor people who live right on the massive garbage dump in Samut Prakan on the outskirts of Bangkok.
When we saw the dreadful conditions that these poor people are living in. We promised to come back and give them much more than just clean drinking water.
Now, we finally have a small window of opportunity to fulfill that promise and we will revisit them for just one day to try and make a big difference to ease the strain a little.

This time we will give a Great Big Fun Day including Children's Shows with English educational content at the school near the dump.
Then after the show, we will give them clean clothing, soap, toys, candies and even ice cream for as many as we can afford!

| These poor'Garbage Picker' families live on one of the biggest garbage dumps in Thailand. The site was recently engulfed by a massive fire when all the families of the dump were evacuated. Happily, the children have now also received medical check-ups following the fires.
They have all been given a reasonably clean bill of health. So the older siblings can take care of the little ones and attend the local school while their parents are back to work, raking through the garbage for anything that can be recycled.
