Gift of Happiness providing school uniforms for all the kids here
Wednesday 19th March 2014 we will head-out to Watsammakan School near Ayutthaya. We will deliver lots of goodies donated by Bromsgrove International Early Years School, and some individual friends of the foundation. We will also treat the children to a great big silly clown show followed by ice-creams all round.
We have been supporting this rural Thai Government School for many years and have given the children a few tons of goodies, some fantastic days out to the Zoo and other places in Bangkok and we intend to continue helping the children who come from very poor communities in the area of Mae La near to Ayutthaya.
The Headmaster has told us that thanks to favorable reporting on the Gift of Happiness website, other organisations had come forward to help the School, and that external painting, and construction of a music room and a new toilet block had completed. He is so proud of his students who are very keen to learn and appreciate all the help we have given them. Especially since we gave 20 computers and new air conditioning units in the Computer Room a couple of years ago.
We are really happy to be able to help them line-up new materials to work with again after their big holiday which starts a few days after our visit.
Anyone can help us with our ongoing support for the children who all come from very poor communities within 10 kilometers from the school. HERE
