I am delighted to announce that I have been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in recognition of my dedication to providing the underprivileged with positive sustainable development through my educational performing arts projects.
RSA London: Charity Leader and Performance Artist, Eddie Haworth has been Elected - Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
The RSA is an enlightenment organisation which is committed to finding innovative practical solutions to today’s social challenges. Through its ideas and research, it seeks to understand and enhance human capability so we can close the gap between today’s reality and people’s hopes for a better world. Based in London and founded in 1754, the RSA was granted a Royal Charter in 1847 and the right to use the term Royal in its name by King Edward VII in 1908.
 |  Being elected a Fellow of the RSA is a great honour for me and it is even more of an honour to join such a highly respected society whose past members and present members include Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin, Benjamin Atkinson, Stephen Hawking, Karl Marx, Adam Smith, Nelson Mandela, David Attenborough, William Hogarth, John Diefenbaker, and Tim Berners-Lee. |
Fellowship gives me access to all the fantastic facilities at RSA House in central London and to a never-ending series of events organised by the RSA and It’s fellow members. I am very much looking forward to the opportunities this will open up to me when I have an opportunity to engage in some of those activities, both in London and outside the UK with other Fellows of the RSA.
