Jan 30 - Gift of Happiness Foundation will deliver mosquito nets and warm clothing to Mae Tao Clinic and Umpien refugee camp North Thailand.
Mosquito Nets needed to protect people in Mae Tao Clinic
'A Big Gift of Happiness - Thank You' from our Founder, Eddie Haworth to our friends who have already given enough money to buy 400 mosquito nets for us to take to Mae Tao Clinic in Mae Sot when we have our show tour at the end of January.
These are the people who've given so far: Susan Chan & Friends: (Sue Cheong, Suwana Philip, Carrin Lee, Aew A. V. Hall,Kanom, Debbie Wu, Zack Jaafar Brazier, Jeed Kastner, Doreen, Vivien, Magdaline, Achira, Mei Mei Kawakita) - Siti Servo - Shirley Tan from Samuthprakarn International Ladies Club - British Woman's Group Bangkok - Ruby Manchanda donated towards the fuel, drivers, & vehicle hire costs.
These mosquito nets take-up a lot of room in Eddie's truck - Then there's the show equipment and some more donations filling the rest of the truck. We also have a total of 12 volunteers, another truck load of clothing toys and other donations to give to the migrant children in the region. We need money to pay for a minivan and extra pick-up hire, fuel for three vehicles Bangkok to Mae Sot return, two drivers salary and their costs.
Estimated costs for this end-of January project are at least 20,000.THB ($230USD)
We only need twenty people to give 1,000THB ($32.00USD) and we can complete this project to...
