Gift of Happiness Foundation Mission
Our mission is to ensure that needy children and families in Thailand are provided with the resources and opportunities needed to sustain a meaningful, healthy, and happy life. Gift of Happiness is a non-religious and non-political charitable organization that provides much needed fun and interactive entertainment, health and educational resources to children and their families living in poverty in Thailand. Since 2000, founder Eddie Haworth FRSA has worked to uplift and support the underprivileged children of Thailand and worked with businesses, schools, and citizens of Thailand to encourage the spirit of generosity, social inclusion, and compassion. |

Gift of Happiness Foundation Vision
Gift of Happiness Foundation works to promote equal access to education, entertainment, resources, and opportunities for all children in Thailand. We seek to expand the network of individuals we serve while forming additional collaborative partnerships with NGOs, schools, and agencies. We work to improve need identification in Thailand and the process of resource allocation. |
We also seek to ensure that underprivileged children have access to training opportunities and education that would lead to a sustainable future. Gift of Happiness Foundation works to combat childhood poverty in Thailand by developing effective collaboration networks that help every child have a healthy, safe, and meaningful life.
Checks and balances
The charity is registered with the Royal Thai Government and undergoes monthly evaluation and regulation.
The Founder, Board of Trustees, all volunteers and sponsored staff are screened to ensure they meet the legal and ethical requirements for engaging with vulnerable people in Thailand and our organisation strives to provide a safe, secure environment for all the people we serve.

About the Founder...
Eddie Haworth FRSA is a professional slapstick comedian in the style of his mentor, Rowan Atkinson, (AKA “Mr Been”). From 1987 through 1994 he studied and was mentored by several world class stage, TV and circus entertainers until he was able to stand alone as the owner of his own Circus company and educational facility located in Liverpool, England.
He’s is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) in London, England and amongst many other honours and awards in the entertainment industry, he’s received the USA based Rotary International Paul Harris Fellowship award (PHF) for his services to charity. |

Funding and Corporate Sponsorship
In 2005, Eddie utilized funds from his successful entertainment business to establish The Gift of Happiness Foundation. The people of Thailand always warmly welcomed Eddie and he wanted to give back and share happiness.
The Gift of Happiness has given vital support to a “pre-pandemic” average of 2,000 needy people per month over the years. As we start to exit the life-changing era of COVID, we are seeking additional corporate sponsorships to meet the cost of employing professional staff to manage the redistribution of aid and rising logistical demands of supplying essentials to even more needy people in Thailand.
