On the 25th of February 2026, The Gift of Happiness Foundation’s small but determined team has once again shown how far compassion, community spirit, and a single truckload of essentials can reach. This month, our volunteers travelled from Bangkok to the rural village of Ban Mai in Khonkaen Province, deep in North East Thailand, where an entire community welcomed us with open arms, bright smiles, and an infectious sense of hope.
What we delivered was simple: clothing, toys, household essentials, and practical support. What we received in return was immeasurable: the kind of joy that lights up a village, the laughter of children who rarely receive gifts of any kind, and the gratitude of families who know they have not been forgotten.

As our truck rolled into Ban Mai, children gathered in excitement, their faces glowing with anticipation. Many of these children have never owned a toy of their own, and some have never had the chance to choose a piece of clothing that fits them comfortably. Watching them explore the mountain of donated items, eyes wide, hands trembling with excitement, was a reminder of why this work matters so deeply.
Parents and grandparents stood by with quiet pride, knowing their children were receiving essentials that will make a real difference in their daily lives. The atmosphere was one of celebration, relief, and shared humanity.
