TOKIO MARINE CSR PROJECT IN BANGKOK 

On 13th November, Tokio Marine Asia, based in Singapore, partnered with the Gift of Happiness Foundation for a corporate social responsibility activity, donating around 90 tote bags filled with educational materials for children in need in Thailand.​

As part of their CSR activity, the team engaged in bonding games to design the tote bags, followed by packing the items. Each uniquely designed and lovingly crafted bag contained essentials such as a notebook, stationary set, writing pads, plastic folders, and coloured pencils.

They also made a generous cash donation to help cover the costs of collecting and delivering the goodie bags full of happiness!

Gift of Happiness Foundation volunteer Simon Allen, originally from Manchester, UK and now a Bangkok expat, along with Khun Karn and driver Bob, collected all the donations from a conference room in a central Bangkok hotel.

The entire team, including Mr. Eddie Haworth FRSA, will be delivering the goodie bags and a couple of truckloads more essentials to a remote village near Chaiyaphum in North East Thailand during one of the charity's aid and show giving projects in December 2024.

The Gift of Happiness team consistently provides essential educational supplies, toys, clothing, and toiletries to some of the neediest people in Thailand on a monthly basis.
