Morawan Community, Bangkok
On 17th May 2026, the Gift of Happiness Foundation team returned to one of Bangkok’s most hidden communities, the Morawan settlement in Soi Onnut, Suan Luang District. Around 120 families live here, tucked out of sight, in housing that no one should have to call home.
And yet, despite the daily struggle of living hand‑to‑mouth, the people of Morawan continue to show something truly remarkable: dignity, resilience, and pride.

The homes may be fragile, but the community spirit is anything but... Parents work tirelessly to keep their children clean, fed, and educated. Kids arrive to greet our team with bright eyes and shy smiles, children who, without support, would have no toys, no school supplies, and no chance to dress with the same confidence as their peers. These families don’t ask for much. They simply do their best with what little they have.
That’s why our monthly aid‑giving projects matter so deeply.
Thanks to the kindness of individuals, families, and companies who trust our small but highly effective charity, we’re able to deliver clothing, educational materials, hygiene essentials, and toys to communities like Morawan — not once a year, not occasionally, but every single month. For nearly 20 years, this consistency has been the heartbeat of our work.
