In Bangkok, where the cool season lingers just long enough to make people hopeful, the Gift of Happiness Foundation kept the Christmas spirit alive long after the decorations had come down.
While most of the city had already returned to its routines, our team was only just getting started, because joy, as we like to say, doesn’t follow a calendar.

On the 28th of January, a truck packed to the brim with gifts, essentials, and colourful surprises rolled into the Morawan Community at Onnut 49. At the front of the operation was our long‑term, trusted manager, Khun Karn, whose calm leadership and boundless compassion turned a simple distribution day into something closer to a festival.
Children gathered first, drawn by the bright boxes and the laughter of volunteers. Parents followed, some shy, some curious, all grateful. One by one, families received not just presents, but a reminder that they hadn’t been forgotten, that kindness can arrive even when the world has moved on from the holidays.
