Gift of Happiness Foundation
After more than twenty years of monthly service to vulnerable communities across Thailand, the Gift of Happiness Foundation is no longer able to accept donations of goods or money.
Our founder and director, Eddie Haworth, has personally funded much of the charity’s work for many years.
He has now exhausted his life savings and is receiving government support, which means the charity can no longer continue its operations.
If you would like to support Eddie in a small but meaningful way, please visit his Author page and consider buying his book. Every purchase helps him keep going.
Thank you.

Closure Announcement The Gift of Happiness Foundation must now close its operations after serving many thousands of disadvantaged people in Thailand every month since 2005, including throughout the COVID period. This decision has been made with great sadness. We express our deepest gratitude to all supporters who have stood with us for so many years. We especially thank Monroe Consulting Group in Bangkok for their long and generous support. Eddie Haworth has now exhausted his personal life savings, and his private sponsor withdrew support several months ago. Without funding, we cannot continue our work. The charity registration will be placed on hold, and the Go‑Happiness Centre in Bangkok is now closed. We cannot accept any further donations of goods for the foreseeable future. The remaining items in stock are currently being distributed to people in need in Bangkok slum communities. The final balance in the charity account will cover the last salaries of our two full‑time staff, both of whom have secured new positions starting in October. |
Thank you to everyone who has supported our mission. Your kindness has brought happiness and relief to countless lives.
