We need regular donations of clothing, toys, medical supplies and educational equipment for our projects to help the poor around the border regions in Northern Thailand.
On our four-to-five-day donation hand-out and show tours, we help between three-to-five thousand poor children and their families who gather at schools or refugee camps to enjoy our offerings.  We also help-out by giving essential supplies to local medical centres that are always very grateful for our support.

But we hardly ever get any money to cover our costs for preparation and the actual visits to those places!
Furthermore - we have no regular sponsors to cover our hard-costs to run our organisation. This means that those costs are often paid directly by Eddie Haworth (The Founder) and some of his friends...
The average cost for running our organisation is 16,000-Baht ($500USD) to 20,000-Baht ($640USD) per month, which includes rent, car re-payments, fuel, I.T. and administration.

“I am happy to continue supporting the foundation through my commercial works as ‘Clown Eckie’.  But as a small “One-Man-Band” business, I don’t actually earn so much, so it can be difficult for me to make plans for these projects without having any other income to fund them”.

If your company, club or small business is able to help us…
Please consider making a regular monthly donation which will help us plan ahead, knowing that we can afford to give more to the children that we serve.

Please consider making donations towards our transport, maintenance & accommodation costs for one or two drivers & their vehicles when we visit those poor families and schools in north Thailand.

Valuable articles that need to be disposed of quickly
Sometimes these goods don't reach the expected price when they have to be sold quickly.  When you are re-locating to other countries or just need to unload something that's no longer useful and taking-up space.   It maybe better to donate it rather than selling to a dealer who's just trying to make a fast buck by taking advantage of your need to sell quickly?
You may feel better about donating those goods
Giving items of value to our worthy cause will make you feel good when you know that your gifts will be sold at one of our charity sales and the money raised will help us to do much more valuable work with the children that we serve.

Our small organisation needs your help
We have always used our own vehicles and hired or borrowed other expensive equipment like generators and trailers to transport many tons of equipment and donations to some of the most remote parts of Thailand.  As we have no corporate funding and pay most of our running costs ourselves.  We need these kind of essential items to be donated to the foundation, so the volunteers no longer need to constantly use their own equipment.

We need corporate sponsors
The Gift of Happiness Foundation is always happy to hear from companies who have old stock of goods that we may be able to pass-onto needy people, use ourselves or sell on the open market.



In return for contributions of stock or services from your company, we will provide you with a great deal of exposure through local and international media (TV + Press) coverage which will help with your CSR program and show that your brand is supporting a worthwhile organisation.  The Gift of Happiness Foundation always provides proper tax receipts for donated goods, services and money.  We will be pleased to meet your company's welfare representative and we're happy to offer a presentation "about us"to your company executives.
